The simplest way to make money without even trying… Recycling!
Many brands are using different types of recycling programs to encourage being kinder to the planet and rewarding us as consumers for getting involved.
I have personally used Boots and H&M this year to recycle my empty makeup/ skincare/ haircare/ body care empties and old clothes! These are things you are inevitably going to throw away and repurchase, so you may as well make use of generating money back!
Boots offer a scan to recycle scheme which allows you to gain 250 Boots Advantage Card points per 5 empties you recycle. It’s such a simple process too !

Using the link below (not an #AD lol) you create an account, scan in pictures of your empty products & wait until products have been approved to recycle. In my experience the longest I’ve waited is 24 hours. Once they are approved you can head to your local boots who is participating the scheme to recycle your empties!

Considering how simple that was, you’ll love how simple H&M is!
H&M offer a £5 voucher off a £25 spend per bag of clothes you recycle in store.
In my experience with H&M they allow 2 bags per day, per reward. I used small bin liners instead of full-size ones, which means you can get more voucher for the same amount of clothes. They also ACCEPT ALL BRANDS which is amazing because you can do a good clear out!

Not to get too deep but I found this super helpful when I was accepting my new body shape, as I grew out of my teenage body. I was able to let go of clothes that didn’t fit or do me and justice and get money to spend on new clothes that did fit my new shape and complimented it! On that note… this is an extremely rewarding feeling letting go of that stress about “Does that fit me” cycle that spins in your head when your trying to get ready.
Finishing up on a lighter note- Enjoy making some free money from recycling your empties and clothes!
Let me know in the comments what you treat yourself to with your vouchers ❤
