Hi Hi,
Longtime no chat… two weeks of no weekly digest & all within reason!
Two weeks ago there was a very unfortunate loss in my partners family and my priority shifted to being there for both him and the family.
A week passed (last week) & the next priority shifted to getting the gym back on track after having sometime off and lots of admin for to aid an exciting change happening in our lives soon (dw I will chat more about it in detail in this post).
I’m going to steer away from our usual format & experiment with a new layout of chatting through some of the pics on my phone from this time period!
With all that being said let’s just dive into what has been happening over the last two weeks; Weekly Digest #4&5
Weekly Digest #4&5 November 28th- December 17th:

Yes, you are seeing things correctly… I FINALLY GOT THE CHRISTMAS DECS UP!!! HOW SNAZZY!!! Honestly, my heart is so full and warm coming home to this beautiful tree. Anddd because the Christmas decs were up I was finally able to wrap all my presents & was able to watch the Santa Clause series on Disney+! I cannot recommend this show enough to lovers of the Santa Claus Triology, it has all the original actors, follows through with the magic from the movies, but also feels like the characters have grown up as the same pace as me from watching as a child to now an adult! Definitely a binge worthy series for the Christmas holidays!

FIRST SNOW OF THE WINTER SEASON!!! This is no joke. This is the first time I remember having snow in the lead up to Christmas in yearrrrrrs… in all honesty I don’t think I remember it snowing in my adult years? Ew that felt old typing that. I’m 21. I’m not old. ANYWAYS… of course me and Oscar had to get out and enjoy the first snow of the season. I know it’s only a little dusting, but I’ll accept it as snow lol.

Here I’m vastly enjoying my current makeup routine and my fresh developing tan (bBold super mousse in medium of course). Weird fact about me… I really don’t enjoy wearing mascara. I know my makeup would absolutely look better if I were to add some mascara to this look. Buttt, the thought of it smearing & not being able to touch my eyes stresses me out. I’m also lapping up my new Gym+Coffee zip up hoodie… I know… this is a spenny brand… but I got this on sale for £32!!! Half price on the Black Friday sale! Since knowing how much I love it, I have been scavenging Vinted for new colours (no luck so far but I’m hopeful). Also I’m defo doing a Vinted haul on Instagram shortly because I have bought some major gems on their recently all for under £10!!!

Benone Getaways… my first ever staycation glamping experience & it did not disappoint! This was an essential get away. I hit a wall of burnout. Quite literally my body just stopped working and I had to make some tough calls on my work choices, lifestyle priorities and all in all slow down. Jordan was on a similar wavelength and we decided to book a staycation close to home to let us both just chill out. I am currently typing up a blog post on all the details of out Benone Getaways experience (so keep your eyes peeled on my insta for when this is posted!).

Next up on the festivities… The Coca Cola Experience! Myself and Jordan headed to the titanic quarter to visit this FREE experience! I was pleasantly surprised at the fact it was a free event & we were greeted with complimentary Coke Zero on arrival! The experience was full of great photo opportunities like the photo booths and the famous Coca Cola lorry! We of course had to sample some of the food vans & thoroughly enjoyed the festive fries and a Belgian waffle. Just to finish off our experience we made our way onto the Ferris wheel and enjoyed the views of the Belfast docks! Considering the event was free and we only spent £17.50 between the two off us on all our eating and activities, I think it was great!
All in all its been a busy and emotional whirl wind over the last few weeks, but nothing we cant handle! As much as I chat positively about how much I love the festivities and everything that comes along with it, it can still be a difficult time for me and many. With that being said if you do feel a little blue this Christmas feel free to send me a DM (I always love a good natter) or if you would prefer to chat to a total stranger to vent or ask for some advice you can call the Samaritans, its completely free on this number 116 123 & open 24/7 including the Christmas period!
And that’s us back up to date again! Weekly digests will resume on a weekly basis from this Sunday (I know! New blog post on Christmas Day! How fun!)
CYA x
