The Weekly Digest #2

Hi Hi,

How are we all??? I hope you had a fabulous weekend and if you didn’t I hope you have a great week!

Let’s get straight into it.

Monday:

No electricno electric in the gym… of course there is no electric in the gym on a Monday morning!!! Swear if you don’t laugh you’d cry lol. Long story short, water in the outside light, light no likey water, no lighty. All is since fixed and I am ever so grateful have an ex electrician as my boyfriend in times like these haha! After all the commotion of the morning in the gym or not in the gym I should say, I took myself out for a coffee date before my lunchtime ladies class. I did come back to Bob and Bert’s for their peppermint mocha (read last weeks Weekly Digest to hear all about it) & done had some admin bits to get caught up on. What else are Monday’s for? I then coached the ladies class, got approached about a fun new work opportunity (I’ll keep youns posted) and went back to finish more admin bits! We love Mondays…

Tuesday:

We are off to a much better start today lol. After I finished work this morning I got a shower and got ready for a festive day… you read that correctly… FESTIVE DAY! FIRST OF THE CHRISTMAS FESTIVITIES!!! We (me and Granny) headed to Mid Ulster Garden Centre in Maghera to see all the Christmas decor & let me tell you they did not disappoint! This is our all time favourite place to go at this time of the year because genuinely its a winter wornderland! We had some lunch first in the cafe (we both opted for a niche quiche and some salad, because helf and all that haha). Then we got down to business. The exploration of said winter wonderland. Greeted with all the cinnamon and pine scented goodness in the air and the huge magically designed displays (like the in the pic below… the rest are on my insta xx). They have everything here. Everything. We love the classic red, green and gold decor. I was tempted to buy every other bauble I lay my eyes on & I will in fact be back to rehome a few to The Gordon’s Christmas Tree (so excited to get the tree up and new baubles). Maybe you’re more into classic styles like ribbons, bells or wreathes… they also got a full display. Multiple. Want earthy tones and textures, no problem! Also there! Every single section is just full of wee bits and bobs as you go around. Take your time, soak up the experience and keep your eyes peeled, you don’t want to miss a hidden gem! We love a good mooch! After a grand total of 90 minutes browsing and mooching around the shop and garden, we headed back into the cafe (yes for a second time. this is a safe place. no judgement. thank you, moving on.)! This time we had a warm coffee and a delicious thick cut apple tart! Perfect way to end the perfectly festive day out with Granny! Festive vibes are officially in full force. Love that for me!

Wednesday:

GOOD MORNING!!! Took advantage of not having any morning clients booked in today & didn’t set an alarm & let my body rest… feeling refreshed to say the least. Enjoyed this morning at a slower pace than usual, watched some Rhett and Link on YouTube in bed, with a cuppa & cuddled up in a teddy bear blanket. Bliss. Decided to get up and go for the daily dander with Oscar & thought we could make use of the blue skies and made our way to Benone beach! Can confirm it was worth the extra 10 minute drive from our usual walk in the country park because the beach was perfect. No cars about. Giant waves crashing. Skies blue for as far as you can see. Enough wind to have that sea salty aroma, but not too much that you have sand in your eyes. Delightful. After our walk I dropped Oscar home & done some fun Christmas challenge programming for the girls in the gym! Cannot wait for December 1st for these to start! I’m in such Christmas spirits this week (as if you couldn’t already tell lol).

Thursday:

Oh hi emotions… I had an important appointment this morning on zoom to chat with a specialist about some of my health concerns & wow talk about a flood of emotions. I didn’t realise how much I needed to get off my chest, I’m so grateful I had the appointment but my god I wish the universe gave me some sort of heads up lol. But as always, we move with it! I had some downtime after the appointment, because tbh I just needed to sit with my emotions, before I could get up and get on with my day. Once I digested everything that we talked about, I got myself out of the house to meet up with Hannah for some coffee (yes, this is the 3rd time I’ve been out for coffee this week, sue me). Sooo now I’m sat in Starbucks blogging until my heart is content. Honestly, I am loving the weekly digest! It’s so casual and fun for me to write, it just feels so effortless but so fulfilling. It’s a great vibe.

Friday:

It’s the weekend! But not really the weekend… I’m on day 5/12 work streak, so I’ve another while before it’ll feel like the actual weekend lol. However, it’s still a great day! Disenchanted was released on Disney+ today !!! You best believe I came straight home from work this morning, poured a tasty bowl of cookie crisp & got it straight on the big TV. I’ll not spoil any of it for anyone who is going to watch it, but to give some context: it’s a spin off of ‘Enchanted’ which came out in 2007! One thing I will say is, make sure to watch the original first before watching Disenchanted, because it will make absolutely no sense at all lol. I absolutely loved every second of it, and I would go as far to say I love it equally as much as the original which was a childhood favourite! Plus McDreamy (Patrick Dempsey) being one of the main characters always helps the matters ;). After having a great time chilling and watching the film, I had some more admin bits to get done for the gym… one of the joys of running a business: the ongoing admin and boring bts. I always beyond grateful for my business, I’m just venting haha. Headed for a very wintery walk with Oscar at the country park and my god it was muckier than expected lol. I thought because it was so chilly that it would be dry, but I was very very wrong… Oscar was no longer a white curly Bichon by the end of his adventure hahaha. Then off to the Chinese to do deliveries & now I’m in bed and ever so glad to be in my comfy, cosy, warm bedroom! Gnight x

Saturday:

The Saturday ritualBrunch in Awaken Portstewart with Oscar & a refreshing walk! I absolutely love this part of my week! I LOVE IT!!! The vibes at the coast just hits different. The food is amazing. The people are way more friendly. Everyone brings their doggo’s. Views for dayssss & just an all around relaxing place. By all means it’s always bustling, but that adds to the atmosphere for me. I’m working tonight again & mentally I ain’t ready for it, so I am in serious need of this reset before starting back to work. Again not complaining, just putting it out there that running a business on your own and having a side hustle ain’t always pretty… but I am grateful and proud that I am capable of doing both at the minute! On that more positive note: I am so glad I done a fresh layer of tan yesterday!!! I honestly LOVE having a fresh tan, it just makes me feel so much more put together lol. I used two layers of the bBold Super Serum Medium. It’s my holy grail. It’s also down to £9.99 through this *link* (AFF). All in all, todays vibes are tired & slow, but also fresh & grateful. Only 6 days left until two cheeky days off… I’VE GOT THIS!!!

And that my friends is a wrap on the Weekly Digest #2! Like I said last week, I am loving the new atmosphere of the blog & using it in a more casual and chatty format… It’s truly just a bit of me!

I hope you enjoyed having a wee nosey at my week & that you also had a lovely week!

I am hoping that the next blog I’m writing is about the Christmas decs going up… stay tuned lol.

CYA x
